Why the Anchor?
The Leveragers’ anchor is central to our cause. The anchor illustrates freedom yet stability, exploration yet security. These illustrations are all fundamental to the Wisconsin Idea and Progressive movement in their mission to promote the well being of society. Additionally, the anchor has been a part of discoveries and explorations for centuries. The anchor was an instrumental tool during the dawn of nautical exploration. The Progressive movement fought to stabilize the corruption that festered throughout politics and leverage for progress. The Leveragers are the beacons amidst the dull political history environment. Using ARIS games as our platform, we attempt to introduce intimate exploration and discovery, with the help of enthusiastic learners, into political history.
